Fargo Systems has welcomed Alex Lear to the role of Senior Infrastructure Engineer, reinforcing the company’s in-house capabilities in cloud and infrastructure management.
With over 16 years of IT experience, including the last decade in senior infrastructure and application roles, Alex is a certified Cloud Architect and SysOps Administrator. He has successfully led numerous projects to modernise and migrate complex systems into secure cloud environments.
Before joining Fargo Systems, Alex held regional and national positions within UK Policing, managing critical projects in environments where security, resilience, and operational continuity were paramount. This high-security background makes him ideally placed to support Fargo’s cloud-first strategy, enabling more logistics operators to transition from self-hosted systems to the company’s secure, Microsoft Azure-powered platform.
