A big Fargo Systems welcome in the strangest of times

It is fair to say that so far 2020 has thrown up more challenges than anyone had hoped for, but here at Fargo Systems we are doing our best to ensure it is ‘business as usual’.

Our commitment to supporting our customers in these strangest of times is demonstrated by the four new appointments we have made since the start of the year, with two colleagues joining us as ‘lockdown’ was announced in March.

While preparing for Brexit back in January, we appointed Arun Malika as a test analyst based at our Ipswich Support and Project headquarters and Xueyang Yu as a graduate developer at our Exeter innovation centre.

With a background in application testing, Arun is also our ‘go-to’ man when it comes to driving the development of Fargo Systems automated testing processes. Steve Collins says: “Arun’s impressive working knowledge of our systems and his drive for test automation advancement will prove invaluable.

“We’re also delighted to welcome Xue to our Exeter team.  Having studied computer science and recently graduated from the University of Southampton, we can see Xue has huge potential, and we’re excited to work with him as he further develops his software skills.”

Interviewed in early March prior to ‘lockdown’, Keirsten O’Reilly and Daniel Daley have joined us as customer support team members. Steve Collins continues: “Strange times call for strange interactions and so, a company first, we introduced them to their fellow colleagues virtually.

“Both Dan and Keirsten bring different but valuable skills to our now seven-strong support team and having completed their three-week intensive online training programme; they’re ready to hit the ground running when we return to everyday working practices.

“All four appointments demonstrate our commitment to maintaining the customer service levels our reputation is based on.  And, while the last two months have not been easy for anyone both on a business and personal level, I’d like to reiterate my thanks to everyone at Fargo Systems for pulling together and showing what teamwork is all about.”
