Fargo Systems are TOPS for Young’s Container Transport

Fargo Systems, creators of the popular TOPS™ (Transport Operations & Processing Systems) software, is working with Young’s Container Transport (YCT). YCT have recently implemented TOPS across their depots in Tilbury and Southampton, planning 170 own vehicles and 70 dedicated subcontractors.

Leading haulier YCT provides first class transport and storage solutions and has already created a number of efficiency savings since employing TOPS as their transport management software solution.

Brian Walker, Managing Director, YCT said: “My first objective after being appointed MD of Young’s Container Transport was to review our operating system. It became very clear that we needed to introduce a new up to date and robust system that would make us even more efficient, whilst adding value to our customers. I fully investigated other options; however none could offer the major operational efficiency gains that I knew TOPS could deliver.”

Since its 2012 release, the TOPS System has been providing bespoke and off-the-shelf software solutions to the haulage industry with huge success.
