Multimodal 2012 sees Fargo Systems showcase TOPS…on the go for Smartphones & Tablet PCs

Leading software provider to the intermodal transport industry, Fargo Systems, will be showcasing their latest edition of ‘TOPS…on the go’ for Smartphones and Tablet PCs at Multimodal 2012
(1 – 3 May, NEC Birmingham, stand 948).

The new release uses Google’s Android platform to provide users with a range of amazing new features and offers huge benefits. These features include in-cab job management, vehicle tracking, ePoD’s and various driver administration features such as defect reporting, timesheets and expenses. In addition ‘TOPS…on the go’ offers job updates to/from the devices to the transport office and automatic waypoint status messages. An added benefit is that ‘TOPS…on the go’ is available in a range of languages including: German, Polish, Dutch, French, Spanish and Hungarian.

Kevin Terrill, Fargo Systems Director, said: “Developing on Android has enabled us to offer customers an extensive range of features, all of which can be provided via a Smartphone device or Tablet PC. This makes our TOPS management system even simpler to use and provides yet another benefit to our customers.”

Demonstrations of the Android version of TOTG will be given at stand 948 where visitors will have a unique chance to try the software and discuss Fargo System’s full range of transport, fleet and logistics solutions.
