Transport Logistics Exhibition, 2015

Fargo Systems Ltd, the UKs leading provider of logistics software for the container haulage industry, will exhibit at the Transport Logistic Show, in Munich (Messe Munchen), Germany. (5th-8th May, Hall B2, Stand 325)

In their 13 years as a company, Fargo Systems Ltd (FSL) have grown rapidly to accommodate the vast market share of the UK container haulage sector, with a further estimated growth of 20% within the European market expected in the coming year. They provide transport, fleet and logistics software solutions to customers in over 16 countries spanning 3 continents, and their unique “TOPS” software is currently managing over 3million container moves each year.

With Transport Logistic exhibiting in Europe only once every other year, 2015 will be the 15th time the show comes to Munich. Transport Logistic is the world’s leading trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management, with over 2,000 exhibiters from all over the world expected to attend. However, that figure dwindles in comparison to the 50,000 trade visitors that Transport Logistic routinely welcomes, making this a business orientated networking opportunity that you clearly don’t want to miss.

This year’s show however, brings particular excitement to the Fargo team as they are able to demonstrate their innovative new product, TOPS.WEBTOPS.WEB is an internet portal designed to bring a wealth of benefits to its users. For example, TOBS.WEB will allow consignee/consignors to view live job information; subcontractors to retrieve job orders and provide updates; and global customer service teams or intermodal users to easily view job information, job updates and even service capacity levels before taking new bookings.

In 2011, FSL launched ‘TOPS…on the go’, a handheld mobile device which allows for information and updates to flow seamlessly between drivers and transport operators, through services such as GPS tracking, job order despatch (with automatic status updates back from drivers) and electronic proof of deliveries. TOPS.WEB takes this visibility even further, by providing customers and consignees with live, real-time job updates and subcontractors with a portal to download collection and delivery notes, update job times, statuses and upload PODs.
This technology enables an openness of real-time information sharing with all those who need  it and will help reduce costs and improve service quality both at the same time.

Steve Collins, General Manager of FSL said, “TOPS.WEB offers something completely innovative in that it allows, for the first time, not just subcontractors, customers and consignees but also customs agents, inland terminals and other parties to access total live visibility to the whole supply chain; all of this using one, singular platform. With this in mind, TOPS.WEB is set to revolutionise the way that suppliers and customers do business. It’s truly a game changer for the freight transport industry.”

He continues, “The release of TOPS.WEB has been long awaited, and the FSL team are very excited to be able to demonstrate its groundbreaking advantages at the up and coming Transport Logistic Exhibition.”

Every year, Transport Logistics’ massive business and supply chain event, sees cargo owners, manufactures, wholesalers, retailers, suppliers and shippers come together under one roof to network, promote their brand and discover new ways to run a more efficient supply chain.

With FSL’s new and existing software specialising in logistics and transport efficiency, the company is expertly positioned to provide software solutions to customers who need to find better ways of optimising their supply chain and transportation movements.

As well as the introduction of our state of the art TOPS.WEB system, the team will also be giving interactive demonstrations of their unique TOPS platform and the ‘TOPS…on the go’ Smartphone extension for drivers and subcontractors.

Purchase your tickets on the Transport Logistic website (www.transportlogistic.de), and make sure to visit the Fargo team in Hall B2, Stand 325, to find out how TOBS.WEB could change the way you do business, no matter what your position in the logistics and transport industry.
