Fargo Sytems Ltd further expands their Felixstowe based team.

Logistics software experts, Fargo Systems Ltd, have expanded their project team in Suffolk with the introduction of new Senior Analyst, Dan Falvey….

In their 13 years as a company, Fargo Systems Ltd (FSL) have grown rapidly to become the leading provider of logistics software within the container transport industry, with an estimated 70% market share of the UK container haulage sector.

With an estimated growth of 20% in the coming year, FSL decided to expand their Felixstowe based team to continue to provide the level of service expected from their clients.

Dan’s role will be to discuss product functionality with customers, helping them to constantly achieve the most out of FSL products. This will continue to ensure that FSL have the resources available to work closely with users of their unique products such as TOPS (Transport Operations and Processing System), whether in the office or on client site, so that they can continue to meet the needs of individual businesses, and the industry as a whole.

Steve Collins, General Manager at FSL, says “There’s no question that Dan is a great requisition for Fargo Systems. He brings with him not only an in depth knowledge of the logistics and transport industry but also specific knowledge of our IT requirements as a company. It’s very rare to find someone with such a strong background in both these vital fields.”

With fifteen years experience in developing logistics software, previously working for recognised industry leaders, Dan says he “hopes to bridge the gap between the ‘technical’ and the ‘customer’”.

He continues, “I joined Fargo because of my experience in creating traffic management and mobile solutions. With my systems background in the haulage sector, it seemed like the perfect fit.”

With Dan on board, Fargo Systems Ltd certainly seem equipped for a productive 2015, with the whole team stating that they are excited for a great year ahead.
